The Bank of Saint Lucia Limited has committed to substantial financial support of $75,000XCD, the memorandum outlines a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the medical facility, improving patient care, and ensuring access to essential services for all citizens. One of the primary goals is to upgrade the Paediatric Ward, which will include the acquisition of advanced medical equipment, the refinement of patient accommodation, and the provision of a patient welfare programme. The Bank of Saint Lucia Limited has also included the donation of a $85,000XCD ATM which will be accessible to patients, visitors and staff members which will undoubtedly support in times of healthcare emergencies at the facility.
This collaboration also opens the door for future joint ventures, aimed at addressing other critical areas within the healthcare sector such as mental health services, chronic disease management, and emergency response capabilities.
