Dietetic services at MHMC are designed to ensure that patients receive evidence-based nutritional care, by coordinating with the Multiple Disciplinary Team and prescribing therapeutic diets that meet each patient’s unique dietary needs as per their diagnosis. The team comprises of trained Nutrition professionals which include, but are not limited to, Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians, offer comprehensive nutritional assessments, formulate nutrition diagnoses, devise appropriate interventions which include providing meal plans, and offer one-on-one and group counseling to patients and their families. A Dietetic Clinic is available for continued nutritional care of patients who are discharged and for external referrals, where current educational materials are provided.
