The Radiology Department provides diagnostic imaging services to determine patient conditions as part of the treatment process. Currently, the department offers:

• x-ray,
• ultrasound, and
• CT scan imaging

CT scan imaging was not previously available in public health care in Saint Lucia. Since moving to Owen King EU Hospital, radiology staff can now comfortably diagnose many patients just one floor below their ward as was not always possible.

The radiology department is equipped to diagnose conditions such as some types of cancer, lung infections, and heart disorders among others.
